General conditions of sale and cancellation
Any reservation entails complete and unconditional acceptance of the customer to these terms.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be by email. In accordance with business practice in the Norwegian tourism industry. Jotunheimen Husky Lodge is required to require cancellations made 3 days or less before day of arrival: Cancellation fee is 50% of total amount. Less than 24 hours prior to day of arrival: No refund.
If you are not present at the given start time for a booked tour, the guides are allowed to start the tour without the missing participant (not to delay the tour for the rest of the participants). This will be considered a “No Show” and no refund will be given.
Any trip canceled by the client or due to the client’s actions will not result in a refund, cancellation fee to the client as follows:
Insurance
Jotunheimen Husky Lodge strongly recommends all its customers to purchase travel insurance from a reputable supplier in their home country before traveling to Norway. It is important for all travelers to protect themselves in the event of unforeseen problems or additional costs.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jotunheimen Husky Lodge accepts no responsibility for direct or indirect loss or damage, foreseeable or otherwise, including indirect, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from the use of the Website or other information therein. Users should be aware that they use the site and the content at their own risk.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts Jotunheimen Husky Lodge liability for death or personal injury as a result of negligence or fraud by Jotunheimen Husky Lodge.
Jotunheimen Husky Lodge acts as a tour operator and assumes no liability for accidents or deaths that may be traced to the participant’s negligence, third party actions or external circumstances beyond the Jotunheimen Husky Lodge control (force major) such as weather, natural occurrences or other similar causes. No liability is assumed for losses, expenses due to delays, changes in flights or other services or due to strikes, accidents, illness, injury, negligence, weather, changes in schedules or other similar causes beyond our control. All such losses and expenses are the personal responsibility of the traveler.
Every effort has been made to ensure that these Terms strictly comply with the relevant provisions of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977. However, if any of these Terms are found to be unlawful, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, the term shall be deemed as separate from these Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining Terms. This term applies only to jurisdictions where a particular term is illegal.
The estimated duration of the trips listed on our website are standard times and may vary. In all events involving third parties, Jotunheimen Husky Lodge acts only as the client’s agent, and no liability whatsoever shall be attached to Jotunheimen Husky Lodge in connection with or arising from such a third party arrangement.
All customers must be reachable either by email or telephone number provided during the order. We are not responsible if the customer cannot be reached before the trip due to incorrect, inaccurate information provided to Jotunheimen Husky Lodge. We recommend keeping an eye on your emails for further communication.
Jotunheimen Husky Lodge reserves all rights to postpone, change or cancel trips due to weather or unsafe conditions for security reasons. Or to remove people where the participant does not follow the wizard’s instructions, driving rules, time constraints or fails to follow your instructions before or during the tour.
When you purchase a tour through our website, you agree to these terms and confirm that you understand them and that you accept responsibility for your participation in the tour.
Intellectual property
All content included on the Site, unless uploaded by users, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, video clips, data collection, page layouts, underlying code and software is the property . by Jotunheimen Husky Lodge, our affiliates or other relevant third parties. By continuing to use the site, you accept that such material is protected by applicable Norwegian and international intellectual property and other relevant laws.
You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, store or otherwise reuse material from the Site unless otherwise stated on the Site or without the express written permission of Jotunheimen Husky Lodge.
Material from the Website may be reused without written permission where some of the exceptions described in Chapter III of the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 apply.
Pricing
All pricing information on the site is correct when it goes online. Jotunheimen Husky Lodge reserves the right to change prices and change or remove special offers from time to time and if necessary. All pricing information is reviewed and updated every month.
Accessibility of the Website
The service is provided as is and on an available basis. We make no guarantee that the service will be free from defects. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties (express or implied) for fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of information, compatibility and satisfactory quality.
Jotunheimen Husky Lodge assumes no responsibility for disruption or inaccessibility of the Website due to external reasons, including, but not limited to, ISP equipment failure, host equipment failure, communications network failure, power outages, natural events or legal restrictions and censorship.
No deviations
In the event that any party to these Terms and Conditions does not exercise any rights or rights described herein, this shall not be construed as a waiver of that right or right.
Law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions between you and Jotunheimen Husky Lodge shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway and Jotunheimen Husky Lodge, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Norway.
By purchasing a tour through our site, you accept these terms and confirm that you understand them and that you accept responsibility for your participation in the tour.
