The kennel – the heart of the lodge

Just over 30 hiking-loving huskies keep doghouses right outside the doorstep at Jotunheimen Husky Lodge. A favorite playground for both two- and four-legged friends, the dog yard is especially popular when the huskies have had new litters of puppies. If the dogs make noise? Mostly only when we feed them – and when they see us rigging up for a new dog sled adventure!
