Stay at the lodgen
Is there a better feeling than waking up in Jotunheimen, surrounded by enchanting pine forests, majestic mountains, and good friends on two legs—and sometimes four?
Jotunheimen Husky Lodge consists of four self-catering apartments of high standard with a living room, kitchen, and bathroom. During the summer months, we also rent out a cozy log cabin on the property.
Your Dream – Our Passion
On a sled ride, wagon ride, puppy cuddles, or an overnight stay at Jotunheimen Husky Lodge, you’re in the best hands. The hosts are the four-horse team Vilja (7 years old), little Billie, mom Trine, and dad Øyvind.
With experience in dog sledding in Alaska, Svalbard, Alta, and Dovrefjell, we open the doors to our family life with our own husky lodge in magnificent and snow-sure Jotunheimen. If you come to join in on dog sledding, you’re guaranteed to have the company of one or more of us!
Summer Adventures at Jotunheimen Husky Lodge
We welcome tour- and dog-loving guests all year round! In the summer season, we offer dog sledding with wheel chart, mountain hikes with huskies – and puppy cuddles in the dog yard at the lodge every day!
